SILVER PACKAGE 2 PROGRAM DETAILS – JR., OHL, CIS, NCAA
ON-ICE
- 10 hours of semi-private on-ice training
- Option to use hours for Power Skating with special guest instructors
- Power Skating weeks are June 24-27th and July 22-25th, 2019
- Dates: 11 weeks – June 3 to August 15, 2019 – Monday to Thursday
- Times: 3:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. – Monday to Thursday
HOW IT WORKS:
- Based on your schedule book in 10 hours of On-Ice Training from June 4 to August 16, 2018
- Ice times run Monday to Thursday
- Times available include: 3:45 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m.
- Select the desired dates you want, and
- Select the desired start time for the specific dates
- You can only book a maximum of two on-ice sessions on a given day
5 DAY OFF-ICE TRAINING SUMMARY:
- Program starts Monday May 27th, 2019
- Functional Assessment/Fitness Test for each athlete (pre & post program)
- Individualized mobility/corrective workbook based on assessment
- 5 training sessions per week (Monday to Friday) for 12 weeks
- 90 to 120 minute sessions
- 6:1 athlete to trainer ratio
- Athletes are grouped according to their age, availability and level of play
- Healthy Eating guide for each player
- Workout times TBD
Each training session will be divided into three components:
1. Movement/Speed
- Soft tissue / Flexibility / Mobility – Movement preparation
- Strength / Skill – Linear / Multidirectional movement
- Dynamic power development / Plyometrics
2. Power/Strength Development
3. Energy System Development
- Aerobic and anaerobic energy systems
